A Cornish Escape by Rosie Green #Review #LittleDuckPondCafeBook46
Welcome to Book 46 in the Little Duck Pond Cafe series! A Cornish Escape is the latest novella by Rosie Green and was published on May 30th.
When a catastrophe threatens Ellie's business there's a puzzling mystery to solve, and Gertie steps in to follow the clues. Love and romance are the very last things on Gertie's mind right now. But while she's risking her safety helping to hunt down the culprits, could she also be in danger of losing her heart?

My Thoughts
You return to Gertie and Jonah for the next in this lovely series. If you have read the previous story, Rumours, Romance and Rhubarb, you will understand more about their friendship and how it came about. They become involved in the mystery around a break-in at Ellie's cafe and soon realise that there is a bigger story to investigate. This takes them on a journey around the south and south-west of England and to a range of cafes.
I always enjoy a trip outside the village but there is plenty about the regular characters and life in the cafe to satisfy. It is amazing that there have been so many stories in this series but it still stays true to the themes and values of life in Sunnybrook. Loyalty, friendship, welcoming strangers looking below the surface and being on the side of the good guys are all there.
In short: follow the clues to solve the mystery
