The first six books in the heartfelt UK series are now available in one collection!

This book bundle contains Wedding Vows and Cornish Ribbons, Cornish Sweets and Wedding Treats, Spring Roses Under Topaz Skies, Cornish Gold at Summer's End, Walnut Mince Pies at the Frost Fete, Secrets and Sunsets at Azure Bay.

Laura:

Thanks so much to Pam, for letting me share about my new Cornish romance anthology with everybody at Books, Life and Everything. It features the first six books in my new series about event planner Julianne and the exciting events she helps to organize in the charming seaside village she’s come to think of as home. The short excerpt below is from the second book in the series, Cornish Sweets and Wedding Treats, and finds Julianne’s old friend Dinah about to compete in a reality show baking competition.

The barn was ready to go, because today was its first take — intro day for the contestants, when the first challenge would be announced. The crew would be shooting some 'filler' footage and interview segments, which meant Kitty and I needed to be sure the decor looked perfect.

"There's Dinah," said Kitty. "She looks a bit nervous to me." Dinah's expression was that of grim determination — I remembered her nerves had been horrible during the first one. She clutched a basket of baking supplies which she set on the counter with her name on its little sign. Grim determination in her jaw.

She saw us across the room and gave a little friendly wave, forcing a smile. We smiled and waved back, but that didn't seem to help this burst of resolve, because Dinah's hands were shaking as she lifted out a jar of nuts and some chocolate bars.

Other contestants were coming in with their own baskets of ingredients. I slipped off my tool belt and joined Dinah as she unpacked. "Just relax," I said. "We all know you're going to do great."

"I don't know why I'm this jittery," she said, fumbling with a package of dried strawberries. "It's just a practice round today, and not the real thing. Besides which, I've won this contest in the past, and came in a respectable third last competition. Nothing to be nervous about, win or lose it's all very well, I tell myself, though my nerves seem to think I'm testifying before the Crown." She rummaged for a mixing bowl from the set nested on the shelf by her oven.
