Secret Wishes and Summmer Kisses on Lily Pond Lane by Emily Harvale #Review #Giveaway

I am delighted to be part of the celebrations for the final Lily Pond Lane book, Secret Wishes and Summer Kisses on Lily Pond Lane. This has grown into quite a series. If you want to take a look, I have reviewed previous visits there here: New Beginnings   |  Summer Secrets   |  Autumn Leaves  |  Trick or Treat |  Return to Lily Pond Lane.    |   A Wedding on Lily Pond Lane

There is also a great Giveaway- details on how to enter are at the foot of this post.

Everyoneā€™s got a secret wish in Little Pondale this summer.

Miaā€™s been exceptionally lucky since moving to Lily Pond Lane. But even on her honeymoon with the man of her dreams, she still has one remaining wish.

Ella wishes Gill would propose. But since Miaā€™s wedding somethingā€™s changed in their relationship. Now heā€™s spending time with newcomer, Tabbie Talbaine, Ella wishes Tabbie will leave as quickly as she arrived.

Tabbie wishes she hadnā€™t driven her car into a pond. But it could be the best thing thatā€™s ever happened to her. When she discovers Hollywood heartthrob, Justin Lakeā€™s staying in the village, getting an interview for her popular blog isnā€™t her only wish.

Bree was told she couldn't have a baby. Now sheā€™s expecting twins and is simply wishing it all goes well.

And as for Hettie ... she wishes she could get her hands on an old map of the village. Because thereā€™s something hidden in Little Pondale that Hettie Turner really wants to find.

                                                                                     My Thoughts
As before, Emily Harvale manages to blend new characters into the village with all the familiar ones we have got to know. It has been a great series and even manages to end with a hint as to what the future holds for Mia and Jet, after a return to the fortune telling of earlier stories. Little Pondale has always had a magical quality about it as a place and so it proves in this final instalment.

Another quality of the stories has always been that you get to see some of the characters' insecurities and flaws. Relationships are not taken for granted and develop naturally. This has been a lovely series, so easy to read and full of light-hearted moments. You could read it as a standalone but of course, it is so much better to catch up on all its predecessors to see the whole Lily Pond journey.

In short: A final flourish for this lovely romantic series.
