As the sticky heat of August settles over Florence, Dan

My Thoughts
With an Armstrong and Oscar Mystery, you are always sure of a carefully plotted story with several red herrings and alternative possibilities. This cozy crime series is always true to its characters and with each one, you feel you get to know Dan Armstrong a little bit more. Dan's daughter is featured in this story as she stays at his villa and introduces her fiance. There is a lot of talk about weddings and Dan's own forthcoming marriage is discussed as well.
There is plenty of detail in this story with several characters to examine. Most of the action takes place in Florence in one villa which the visitors are unable to leave. As ever, Oscar has a big part to play in the investigation and is welcomed by the Italian police as well as the reader! This series is an endearing whodunnit, full of the sights and sounds of Italy and offers an entertaining read for any of Trevor's many fans.
