Sunshine over Bluebell Castle by Sarah Bennett #Review

I am delighted to be on the blog tour for the second in the Bluebell Castle series by Sarah Bennett. Sunshine over Bluebell Castle was published on August 5th by HQ Digital. You can read my review of Spring Skies over Bluebell Castle here.

The summer she will never forgetā€¦

Timeā€™s running out for Iggy Ludworth to restore the wild gardens of Camland Castle in time for the Summer Fete, so she ropes in hotshot gardener Will Talbotā€¦

But she regrets her decision as soon as he sets foot in the historic grounds ā€“ not only is Will arrogant and bossy, heā€™s totally gorgeous!

And very soon, sparks are flying amongst the bluebells. Yet with summer nearly over, will their summer fling convince Will and Iggy to go the distance?

Perfect for fans of Trisha Ashley, Rachael Lucas and Hilary Boyd.

Book 3: Starlight Over Bluebell Castle

My Thoughts

I have been anticipating the next instalment in this series and it did not let me down.  The setting is as gorgeous as ever and is the focus for the storyline, with its romantic landscape. The second in the series centres on Iggy, the eldest of the triplets who has to step aside for her younger brother. The relationships between all the siblings and their extended family is warm and humorous, with a lovely informal side which fills the castle with life.

Will proves to be a great addition with his own interesting backstory. His background is as far from Iggy's as you could get but it is clear pretty soon that they have a connection. We also learn more about the triplet's mother . As can be expected from Sarah Bennett, she has created quite a character and one with a few surprises to spring. This is a great book to escape into, full of warmth and family.

In short: Summer at Camland Castle fizzes with life.

About the Author

Sarah Bennett has been reading for as long as she can remember. Raised in a family of bookworms, her love affair with books of all genres has culminated in the ultimate Happy Ever After ā€“ getting to write her own stories to share with others.

Born and raised in a military family, she is happily married to her own Officer (who is sometimes even A Gentleman). Home is wherever he lays his hat, and life has taught them both that the best family is the one you create from friends as well as relatives.

When not reading or writing, Sarah is a devotee of afternoon naps and sailing the high seas, but only on vessels large enough to accommodate a casino and a choice of restaurants.

Sarah is the author of the Butterfly Cove, Lavender Bay and Bluebell Castle trilogies, published by HQ Digital UK.
