The Love Dilemma by Tracy Corbett #Review

Happy Publication Day to Tracy Corbett for her latest, The Love Dilemma which is published today by Rubha. Enemies in the Office. Lovers in the Making. A Lie Too Big to Ignore. When fiery physiotherapist Elena Romero and buttoned-up solicitor Danny Jackson are forced to share a workspace, it’s instant mutual dislike. She sees a workaholic in a designer suit. He sees yet another opinionated woman complicating his already stressful life. Yet behind the tension, both are secretly shouldering heavy burdens: Elena is stretched thin caring for her ill sister, while Danny’s world revolves around the younger brother he’s raised alone. When Elena helps Danny recover from an injury and he advises her sister on a legal matter, sparks fly—and not just from their feisty arguments. But when family loyalties and legal battles collide, everything falls apart. With trust broken and secrets exposed, can enemies turned lovers find a way back to each other before it’s too late? A witty ...

Stuck on you by Portia Macintosh #Review

I am delighted to feature Portia Macintosh's newest romcom, Stuck on You which was published on September 17th by Boldwood Books.

Could a post-it note really lead to love...?

Sadie doesn't have time for finding love. She's too busy as PA for famous artist Damian Banks. When she's not arranging exhibitions, she's organising his dry cleaning or dumping his never ending stream of girlfriends.

But when she strikes up an unusual friendship with her desk share buddy, she finds a confidante and a new potential love interest. Problem is, they've never actually met...

With Christmas just around the corner, can Sadie put herself first for a change and find what she's been looking for all along?

The brand new romantic comedy from top 10 bestseller Portia MacIntosh. Perfect for fans of Sophie Ranald, Mhairi McFarlane and Zara Stoneley.

                                                                                       My Thoughts

I thoroughly enjoyed this light, amusing romcom which sped by. Sadie and her family are completely likeable and there is a great contrast between her life in London and back home. Christmas with her family has a heart-warming and welcoming feel and all the festive activities bring a smile to your face. There are some genuinely funny moments and sparky dialogue between the characters and you really feel you know them.

In both Sadie and Damien, you can see a degree of character development in the story which is completely credible. The more you find out about Damien's family, in particular, the more you understand him. However, as you learn, not everything can be taken at face value. Indeed, Damien is a little hard to size up at first but you get a hunch about him and it is quite amusing to see the story pan out. With some surprises and a will they, won't they plot, it is a lovely, festive read.

In short:  Christmas cheer and lots of romance.
