Her ‘perfect’ sister is getting married. In Australia. On Lana’s 30th birthday and no one seems to have noticed. To make matters worse, she’s been given a list of rules she must follow so she doesn’t upstage the bride. Well, rules are meant to be bent right? Snow is Falling by Sarah Bennett #Review #JuniperMeadows4

I am delighted to be on the tour to celebrate the final instalment in the Juniper Meadows series by Sarah Bennett. Set in the Cotswolds, Come Rain or Shine  was published on 6th March by Boldwood Books. You can read my review on the first in the series, Where We Belong, here and the second, In From the Cold here and the third, Come Rain or Shine  here.

When Sadie Bingham’s life takes an unexpected turn, her children treat her to a well-earned break at Juniper Meadows, the gorgeous Cotswolds estate owned by the Travers family.

The festive season is in full swing, and Sadie throws herself into the packed Twelve Days of Christmas programme, relishing the opportunity to make new friends and new memories.

Single father Dylan Travers hasn’t been to his childhood home of Juniper Meadows for decades. Estranged from his cantankerous father Monty, he has made a happy life for himself in the States. But now with teenage children keen to know more about their roots, Dylan has brought them back to the Cotswolds to meet his family.

As Sadie and Dylan both navigate a Christmas very different from the ones they had expected it's soon clear that, geography apart, they have a great deal in common. And as Dylan confronts his past and Sadie contemplates her future, perhaps the miracle of this Christmas will be the happily-ever-after they both deserve.

Let Sarah Bennett whisk you away to a snowy Cotswolds for the perfect winter romance. A Sarah Bennett book is guaranteed to brighten any day, perfect for all fans of Cathy Bramley, Katie Fforde and Phillipa Ashley.

My Thoughts

This is a thoroughly satisfying final book in the Juniper Meadows series, which I have so enjoyed. The central characters in this story are Dylan, the youngest of Monty's children who has been estranged since his teens, and Sadie, who is staying at the hotel for Christmas. She is recovering from the break-up of her marriage and taking a massive leap forward as she steps out on her own.

All the familiar characters are featured which is lovely as you get to see how they are all getting along. Family is absolutely central to all their lives. Set over Christmas, there are so many great festive touches which arise from the plot as the hotel hosts Christmas. It all sounds idyllic, from the festive crafts to the outside snowy activities and gorgeous walks. I am sorry to see that this is the end of the series, but have loved each one.

In short: new friends and family reunions
