Daisy's Dilemma by Debbie Viggiano #Review

We have a shiny new Romcom today! Daisy's Dilemma by Debbie Viggiano is published today, the 25th May, by Unicorn Publishing.

Florist Daisy is loved-up and blossoming.  Boyfriend Dominic has proposed marriage!

However, Dominic isnā€™t in any rush to buy a ring, and meeting the parents is looong overdue.  What is the problem?  After all, Daisyā€™s mum has already bought her big hat and wants to know the wedding date!

Then careless words plant seeds of doubt and, like weed, Daisyā€™s concerns begin to multiply.  Is Dominic hiding something?

Meanwhile, sexy ex Harry is back on the scene and begging Daisy for a reconciliation.  He thought the grass was greener with HER but now says he made a mistake.  Is Harry ā€“ for once ā€“ being genuine, or simply leading Daisy up the garden path?

New neighbour Seth seems like a fun guy, but a single throwaway comment has Daisy mimicking a species of Calla Lily ā€“ Red Alert!  Itā€™s time to do some digging.  But even she never anticipated a mad car chase across London or unearthing a shocking secret that changes everything.

Sparks are set to fly in this gorgeous romantic comedy about love, trust, and new beginnings.

 My Thoughts

This romcom sweeps you along. It is warm and witty with some genuinely funny moments. You get the feeling from early on that all is not as it should be with Daisy's partner. It seems that quite a few people have their doubts and you feel as if you are part of their number. Only Daisy is hoping for the best... I particularly enjoyed Daisy's internal monologues as she tried to push her doubts to the back of her mind and loved the heart in her mouth moments when she feared she may have voiced her true thoughts.

Trust is pretty high on the agenda in this story. Unfortunately, Daisy is just not sure of certain people. There are misunderstandings, misconceptions and missed opportunities in her life as she struggles to make sense of people's motives. Still I found it a fun read with some lively characters and plenty of humour.

In short: Dominic, Harry or Seth... who to trust?
