Single All The Way by Elaine Spires (Singles Series Book 3) #Review

Today, I am delighted to feature Single All The Way which is the third book in Elaine Spires' Singles Series, You can read my review of the final book in the series, Singles, Set and Match here.

Travel Together Tour Manager Eve Mitchell is planning a quiet Christmas at home to rest and relax before a special New Year. But she soon, very unexpectedly, finds herself in the depths of the Essex countryside looking after a singles' group which contains some old, familiar faces and some pleasant - and not so pleasant - new ones. With its country walks, quizzes, disco and black-tie ball, the Christmas and Twixmas Break passes quickly, but just as they think it's all over the plot takes a twist and we learn some dark secrets...

My Thoughts

Once Eve arrived at the hotel to take up an emergency placement as Tour Manager, I found that I relaxed into the story and enjoyed getting to know the cast of characters who had decided to spend Christmas there. They are quite a variety and as you discover as the story develops, most of them have their own secrets to hide or anguish to cover up. They get into all sorts of escapades which are genuinely funny. Set against these are some touching moments of self-awareness.

Set against the complicated lives of the guests, we get to learn more about Eve and her family relationships. You begin to understand how her childhood has impacted on her and why she is so independent. Thid is a fun read for Christmas and certainly full of the festive season.

In short: Every guest has a story to tell...
