Archibald Hill is handsome, single, and he’s going to his best friend’s wedding ready to make a conquest or two. After all, everyone knows weddings are the perfect setting to get lucky.

Summer Knowles used to have a life—friends, family, a sister who’d do anything for her—until she blew it all away with a terrible mistake. Now, attending her twin’s wedding as the party’s undesirable number one seems like more than she can handle. So, when a tall stranger with smoldering ice-blue eyes offers her a therapy of seven nights of no-strings-attached fun, she might even ignore that he has a beard and accept.

Problem is, Summer has never been good at keeping sex and feelings separated…

My Thoughts

Having read Winter and Logan's story in From Thailand with love,
I absolutely loved finding out what happened to her twin sister, Summer. Well what happened is that she met Archie! The week before Winter's wedding is an ordeal for Summer who has to face a lot of her ex- friends after an ill-judged affair. All she wants to do is hide away but that never seems to be an option. Archie has personality in spades and a reputation which goes before him. What they can't deny is the sizzling chemistry which they do their best to hide from the other guests. All the madness of over the top weddings are on show, but Summer goes along with whatever her sister wants. It is through that that you realise that she is at heart, a kind, generous, family minded person and certainly not the sort to steal other people's boyfriends.

There are some great scenes, particularly the acro yoga. I also enjoyed the scenes around the dining table, with Summer and  Archie pretending they are no more than acquaintances. Of course, they don't fool everyone! Of all the characters, Archie has the most to come to terms with as he realises just what he does actually want from life. I had to smile at his different daily outfits when he seemed to reinvent himself, to fit whatever the occasion might be.  I thoroughly enjoyed the read. It is great fun. The first scenes with Archie and Summer are probably not what you are expecting but great insights into their characters.

In short: A lively romcom which will make you smile.
