I love all Kathyrn Freeman's romcoms so I am delighted to be part of the celebrations for her latest, Booked For Summer which was published by One More Chapter on April 30th.

My Thoughts
This is a totally escapist read which takes you away to the beautiful and exclusive Nantucket Island. On the surface, Jade and Liam are opposites. She has her feet on the ground and a fairly normal upbringing. Liam on the other hand is the Billionaire owner of the hotel complex. However, you soon find out that Liam's background is not a silver spoon one and that he has vulnerabilities and insecurities. They are both likeable characters who you can get invested in.
Jade has come to the resort with big plans to get involved in the running of the bookshop. Liam has zero interest in keeping the shop as it would be in the way of his plans to redevelop the resort. This creates a tension between them and when it becomes clear that he is her boss, Jade finds the whole situation more and more difficult. Liam's plans for change have their roots in his childhood and the way he was treated as a boy by certain locals. If you want a fun and entertaining read, look no further.
