ever afters’. Little did she know that delivering a Caribbean-themed
wedding in sunny Cornwall would rival the fashion industry for drama,
tantrums and mysterious goings on.

dousing the bridesmaid’s dress with tomato ketchup? Or hiding the
bride’s beloved Jimmy Choos? Or attaching googly eyes to everything in
sight?

My Thoughts
Having thoroughly enjoyed this feelgood novel, I can say that I am looking forward to the next in the series. There are lots of amusing moments, especially with some of the wedding details and as there is a gentle mystery to uncover as you go along. Lexie seems to be dogged by bad luck. Leaving her life in London behind, she seems to bring the chaos with her but luckily, there is a charming journalist to help her unpick just what is going on.
There are some promising characters who I hope will figure in subsequent stories. The setting is beautiful as ever so in all, this is an escapist read which will transport you out of the grimness of life of the moment and offers the promise of some sparkling summer Cornish days. Bring on no.2 !
In short: Spend some time in beautiful Cornwall for a great feelgood read.
