My Thoughts
 
The community at Love Heart Lane welcomes you back in this feelgood story. It is lovely to meet up with the characters again and to find out more about Isla and Drew's life. It takes time to get to the reason behind their arguments and along the way there are some obstacles to overcome. Behind the story you realise that there are some serious issues to deal with. The story may have a cosy feel but some parts of life are difficult and can't be avoided. 
 
    There are also some humorous touches throughout the story. The characters are all well drawn and relatable and you get to see how the generations relate to each other. Isla's relationship with her grandmother may have its ups and downs but you get a real sense of family and belonging as well.
 
In short: A story to delight the reader.
