 My Thoughts

When you travel to Paris with Tessa, you have a feeling that Paris might be the ideal place to mend her broken heart. Once there, she meets some strong characters and gets to see some amazing sights in the city. Unfortunately, her writer's block seems to be not for shifting. As the story unfolds, you can sense her confidence increasing. Her AirBnb seems like a haven to her, with its sparkling view of the Eiffel Tower. At times, she listens to others a little too much and lets them influence her actions. Once she realises this, she begins to think for herself.

    There is plenty of romance in the story but also some humour. It
moves on at a good pace and is am enjoyable read/ The contrast between her new friends and the one who hurt her so badly is striking. They are encouraging whilst before, she met scorn. In some ways, the story shows you how Tessa comes to believe in herself and to have confidence in herself as a writer.
